LogiNext, a leader in cutting-edge technology, is on the hunt for a passionate Junior Software Engineer – Analytics to join their vibrant team in Mumbai. In this dynamic role, you’ll be building data-driven products that extract valuable insights, optimize efficiency, and elevate customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software that harnesses the power of big data for LogiNext’s products.
- Dive deep into data, utilizing your analytical skills to create efficient data structures and algorithms.
- Master the art of managing data in expansive, scalable databases like NoSQL, time series, and geospatial systems.
- Craft insightful metrics and evaluate algorithms for peak accuracy and recall.
- Ensure data accessibility and optimal usage through indexing, clustering, and other techniques.
- Collaborate seamlessly with engineering and product development teams to bring data-driven solutions to life.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, a related field (from a top-tier institution), or Statistics/Mathematics with hands-on software development experience.
- Up to 1 year of product development experience with a proven track record of algorithmic work.
- A sharp analytical mind and a knack for problem-solving.
- The ability to work independently, set goals aligned with business objectives, and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in JAVA or Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with data processing analytics and visualization tools in Python (pandas, matplotlib, Scipy) OR JAVA (RapidMiner, JavaML, JSAT).
- A solid understanding of databases and SQL querying.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis is a plus.
- Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop, Yarn, Redshift, Spark, and Kafka is a major bonus.
- Understanding of geospatial data stores and PostGIS is a valuable asset.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a definite advantage.
