YouTube is hiring a Scaled Abuse Analyst for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP)!
About the role:
- Be passionate about identifying abuse patterns and trends within the YouTube Partner Program.
- Play a key role in reducing abuse on YouTube’s business generation program.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem.
- Develop strategies and workflows to combat new and emerging abuse tactics.
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to improve anti-abuse systems and processes.
- Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain high quality standards by providing regular feedback to the global team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced statistical methods to data sets.
- Develop strategies and workflows to counter abuse.
- Learn and apply complex technical concepts.
- Communicate technical findings clearly.
- Manage and improve quality assurance processes.
- Develop training materials for stakeholders.
- Investigate fraud and spam activities.
- Identify product vulnerabilities.
- Design and run anti-abuse experiments.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 1 year of experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design, and automation.
- Experience with classification or ranking systems. (Preferred)
- Experience translating data insights into actionable strategies. (Preferred)
- Experience working with global teams. (Preferred)
- Experience collecting, managing, and analyzing large data sets. (Preferred)
